30+ Years of Experience
Steve Fagan, owner and principal craftsman of the business, has over 30 years experience working in wood and metal. With a carpentry background in home and kitchen construction, he is a Grade 4 certified welder who has also worked as a large truck mechanic, print-maker, stone mason and accordion-builder. From a wide-ranging and multi-faceted career, combined with a successful 20-year mission to homestead a mountain, he has acquired a rather unique knowledge-base and skill set. Fagan Industry is the distillation of this work, and focuses on the things he loves to make – creations that add beauty to your home, garden or business, carefully balancing function and eye-appeal.
His partner, Julie, manages the business end of things, and helps with logistics and quality control. Steve also collaborates with other local craftspeople and carpenters depending on the size and scope of the project.
